Sea Love Sea Salt Co. hand harvests sea salt from the fast-moving, clean waters of Wrightsville Beach, NC. North Carolina beaches are strictly monitored by Division of Marine Fisheries, which tests the water quality year round in 240 sites, including their exact pull site. The sea water is filtered and solar evaporated, producing culinary finishing salts, cocktail salts, body scrubs and soaks in small batches. Solar evaporation is a natural process, which uses only the suns energy to remove the water and leave behind pure, flakey, salt crystals. Their salt houses run on solar power, so the entire process using only nature: the sea, sun, and wind… and a little bit of love from them as well!
